Baptisms and Child Dedications

Baptisms

WHAT IS BAPTISM?
Baptism is a step of obedience that comes after accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior and acknowledging that He has paid the price for your sin and is the only source of eternal life in Heaven. Baptism is an outward expression to show people the choice that you have made to follow Jesus and to symbolize your new life in Christ that has already happened.

Baptisms happen during 9:00am and 11:00am  services on the last Sunday of most months.

Child Dedications

Child Dedication is a special time for parents of infants and young children to make a testimony before the church of their commitment to raise their child according to God’s Word with the help and support of their local church community.

Dedications are typically held the last Sunday of most months during the 9:00am service. Prior to the day of dedication, the Children's Ministry will schedule a phone meeting with you and Debbie to discuss the handbook and bible verses about dedication and the dedication process.

On the day of the dedication, our Children’s Ministry Director will meet with you beforehand to talk and pray for your child. Your family and support will be invited up front with you, as well as the Children's Ministry Director, and Pastor Rob (or the teaching pastor that Sunday) will pray a corporate prayer over all the families who are dedicating.

During the dedication, there will be a photographer taking photos available to you. The service will also be live-streamed and archived for family and friends worldwide who can't attend. You will receive a dedication certificate that day and soon after, an email containing a link to the photos.

To schedule your child's dedication, simply email Karyn

Special Note: We would like to post pictures taken of the child dedications on the website page to celebrate. Please let us know if you would not like your family dedication photo used.
