Miracles // Take Up Your Bed is a journey through the story of the man lying at the pool of Bethesda – a man who has been lame for 38 years! Jesus asks him a seemingly obvious question, “Do you want to be healed?” and the man responds with excuses. What happens to many of us is we get comfortable in our infirmities and we don’t actually want to put in the effort that would be required to get better – oftentimes the pain of recovery is worse than the pain of the thing that put us in the situation we’re making excuses about and blaming other people for. For some, we need to make the effort of “taking up our mat and walking” and for others, God may not change your circumstance, but wants to change you in the midst of it!
