It can seem scary and intimidating to walk into a room full of people you don’t know.
We get it. Here’s answers to some frequently asked questions.

What can I expect when I first arrive?

Every Tuesday night our community gathers at 6:30pm for coffee and fellowship before heading into the Barn for worship.

We have greeters every week who are there to welcome you and introduce you to the people in our community. So let them know you’re new!

What is a “young adult”?

High School Grad-age 30. We have many young adults on the younger and older end of our age range, so there will always be people to connect with your age and in your season of life!

What is worship like?

We believe genuine worship comes from a place of gratitude and adoration for God. Our musical worship team is comprised of young adults who worship in Spirit and in the Truth of God’s word. We love to worship together and would love to have you join us!

What is the teaching like?

Our teaching is led by our ministry leader, Caleb James, as well as a rotating team of young adult teachers. We switch up the teaching style from expository preaching, topical studies, and small group discussions.

We believe learning should be a communal process, so our teachings are engaging and almost always invite the audience to respond to questions and give input.

What is the after-hour?

After our worship and teaching we spend time hanging out, playing games, and having intentional conversations. These are core elements of our After-hour and they all aim to grow meaningful relationships in our community.

You can expect there to be volleyball, frisbee, and other games so bring a change of athletic clothes!

We believe the future of the church is more disciples, not fewer. We also believe God has created every human to be in relationship with Him and to be on mission to cultivate Creation with righteous beauty. Grace Chapel Young Adults is a community of believers that do life together and are on mission with God to make Him known to the world. It is a place to develop genuine relationship with our God and His people, and to grow in our God-given gifts to be mature disciples of Jesus. We pray that every person at Grace Chapel Young Adults has the opportunity to know these truths and to serve in the greatest kingdom this world has ever known: The Kingdom of God.
